Colin started out in the financial services industry in 1986. He originally worked for banks and other financial institutions before deciding to set up his own practice in 1995. Colin is a qualified financial planner and helps clients with all aspects of their finances.
Colin is a big rugby fan and loves nothing more than spending time with his family and friends.
Colin started out in the financial services
James followed in his dad’s footsteps and joined the industry in January 2015. He quickly achieved his CeMap and Diploma qualifications and is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.
James has had a very busy 2019; buying and renovating his first home and marrying his lovely partner, Shannen. James enjoys football (one of three Gooners in the Need FP office!), fine food and a good ale.
Chrissie changed career and joined Need FP in 2017 as our Admin Manager, supporting the rest of the team here.
Chrissie is a mum of 2 girls (Indi, 6 and Imogen, 3) who keep her very busy! In her spare time she will most likely be watching Arsenal or an obscure, foreign football game with her husband Eddie!
Mortgage & Equity Release Adviser
Jane joined our team here in 2018 following a successful sales career. She’s completed both her CeMap and CeRER qualifications and now specialises in Equity Release.
Jane loves a chat and takes great pleasure in helping all those around her and has become a firm client favourite! She is kept busy with her growing family (4 grandchildren, soon to be 5!) but wouldn’t change it for the world.
Colin and the team at Need FP are passionate about the local community and continue to explore new opportunities to give something back to the place we all love.
We jumped when the chance to sponsor Thanet Wanderers came up; a club that Colin has played for, captained and coached in the past. Many traits and lessons learned at the club are still apparent in Colin’s business life today, so it seems very fitting to have the two now in partnership.
